Exercises for the Mind and Heart
If a problem is fixable, there is no need to worry.
If it's not fixable, then there is no benefit in worrying whatsoever.

Exercise:
Begin seated in a comfortable place. Relax your body and begin to breathe. As you breathe, become aware of any tension in your body. Breathe into the tension and release it.
As you find your mind wandering, (making lists, having conversations, reviewing what "should have been or might have been"), bring your mind back to your breathing. Breathe in for the count of 7 Hold for the count of 4 Breathe out for the count of 8
Do this 4 times
Practice this daily and as needed when you feel yourself becoming overwhelmed with feelings.
