Every one of us yearns for something: more money, greater understanding, closer relationships, less arguments, more time to play, a great connection to their purpose. So what happens? How come it seems like others already have what we want? Well the truth is, everybody has to work at making these things a priority. How often do you hear yourself saying, "I'll start tomorrow." "Tomorrow is a new day." "I know he or she will change." "If I just had....."

 

Unfortunately, wishing for it rarely makes it so. A fulfilling life takes dedication, motivation and inspiration and you don't have to do it alone.

As a therapist, I have spent the last 20 years working with hundreds of  parents, partnerships, friendships and men and women, all trying to find out what makes them happy and how to feel cherished and acknowledged. The recipe is fairly simple with primary ingredients being patience and the courage to give as much to yourself as you give everyone else.
